Good Morning?

Are you a morning person? My wife says that she is not. Yet, I am unsure whether or not she knows the definition of what a morning person is. Chrissie said that she is not a morning person because she doesn't like to get out of bed. That maybe true, but who wants to get out of bed in the morning? I don't like to get out of bed either and wish that I could have another 1/2 hour to sleep. But I believe that my wife is a morning person because she wants to engage me in conversation, conversation about everything and anything. We took the kids to school and she did not stop talking to me the entire time and then wondered why I would not respond. Honestly, I could not respond. I don't believe that I have the ability to respond to anyone in the morning. My wife is generally a happy person all of the time and that only bothers me in the morning when she wants to talk, joke, and have a great freakin' time in the morning. I am grateful for her great attitude; and she realizes to tone it down a bit, so her grumpy old man husband can get through the god awful morning. That maybe why I spend the first 45 minutes of the day by myself behind a locked bedroom door, watching ESPN, and getting ready for the day. A friend asked my wife and I to take their boys to school. Their oldest son talked to me nonstop the entire way to school. When I came home, I begged my wife to take the boys to school with our children the next day because I could not do it ever again. I intensely dislike mornings. Maybe if I went to bed earlier that I would like mornings better, but I doubt it completely. I wish that I had that cup of coffee in the morning and will need one tomorrow morning because I am posting this at 12:03 am in the morning while watching ESPN.
